Harper Weekly Magazine
Harper Weekly describes the battle of Gettysburg with great detail of what happened with who, where, and why. They also stated as being the most important battle of the civil war. There were a plethera amount of deaths, wounded troops, and many missing troops during this battle. There were so many deaths that Lincoln dedicated the battle field as a cemetery. The Outcome of the battle was that Lee's army failed then his army moved near the Potomac. The significance of this battle was that the confederates had lost. Towards the end, the Confederates gave way making the Union succeed. My feelings about this battle were that mainly, its sad that you have to go threw an entire battle with thousands of deaths just to solve a problem, but it's also very good that the Union had won.
